Sean also works with organisations for extended periods through long-term engagements. This is generally as a non-executive director.

Sean remains a non-executive director of The Albatross Group the company he built and led for over 20 years. In 2017 he sold it to his management team through a management buyout.

In addition, he is currently Deputy Chair of Investors in People, the UK’s leading standard for people management. Over ten thousand business are currently accredited with the Investors in People standard. He also serves as Chair of Trustees at Crossroads Care Kent, the largest Kent–based voluntary organisation. Crossroads Care Kent is a charity that provides respite care to unpaid carers in over three thousand families throughout Kent and has recently been appointed as Chair of Trustees for Cerebra, the national charity that supports children with brain disorders and their families.

Sean also acts as one of five directors of The European Tour Operators Association, a leading trade association for European tourism businesses. Membership currently stands at over a thousand members with combined annual sales of more than EUR12bn.
